Stain Blocking and Soiling Resistance Technology
Specially formulated stain blocking technology is built into STAINMASTER® carpet during the
manufacturing process and helps to prevent staining from most common household food and beverage spills.
INVISTA's exclusive soiling resistance technology helps to reduce soil accumulation, limits the ability of
soil to stick to the fibre, and provides liquid repellency to spills. These treatments are designed to be
durable to foot traffic and hot water extraction cleaning.

The Fibre Technology System
All STAINMASTER® carpet is made with type 6,6 nylon, which has the strength and resilience to
deliver excellent resistance to wear, texture loss, and crushing. Type 6,6 nylon has a unique polymer structure
in the fibre that combines with our patented, specially-engineered fibre shapes to deliver carpets with
outstanding performance compared to ordinary carpets of wool, polyester, nylon 6, or polypropylene. These
premium-fibre properties and the use of bulked continuous filament (BCF) technology protect against fibre loss
and shedding under foot traffic, and provide you with brilliant appearance retention, so that your new carpet
stays looking good longer!

may be removed by foot traffic or successive cleanings, and are often ineffective in dry air conditions.
