- Vacuum frequently. It helps remove dry soil particles that can dull fibres and cause matting.
- Place glides under heavy furniture to combat crushing. Rotate furniture to give carpet a rest.
- Avoid long hours of direct sunlight on carpet. Close blinds periodically. Select a lighter coloured carpet in sun-drenched rooms to minimize fading.
- Change traffic patterns. Rotate furniture so people alter their path through the room.
spot treatment
When it comes to spills, timing is everything. While no carpet is fully stainproof, our technology helps keep the liquid on the fibre’s surface so you can absorb it. The sooner you can get the liquid off the fibre’s surface, the less time it has to penetrate and leave a stain. Remember, blot the spot, don’t rub or scrub.
professional cleaning
Remember, to maintain your limited warranties, your carpets must be professional cleaned by hot water extraction (steam cleaning) at least every 24 months.
